Community engagement Team

The Community Engagement Team supports the mission of TTLM by raising awareness of the needs in the area and engaging the local community to meet those needs.

Possible Tasks: Promoting and planning special events; Distributing flyers; Sharing social media posts

Connection Team

The TTLM Connection Team supports the mission of TTLM by playing a role in TTLM Connection to ensure clients feel welcomed, cared for, supported, and loved.

Possible Tasks: Greeting; Welcoming new guests; Setup/Cleanup; Co-facilitating

Employment Education Team

The Employment Education Team supports the mission of TTLM by ensuring clients have everything they need, including support, to complete our employment class series, gain the tools and skills they need to gain meaningful employment and succeed at landing their next job.

Possible Tasks: In-class assistance; Resume' writing; Mock interviews; Setup/Cleanup

Facilities Team

The Facilities Team supports the mission of TTLM by ensuring our building is always well maintained and in its most excellent condition so that what God has gifted us with will last for years. It's important that clients who are in crisis always know they have a place of refuge that is nice, clean, and ready to welcome them when they need it.

Possible Tasks: All things maintenance (air filters, light bulbs, general repairs, etc.); Cleaning; Touch-up Paint; Powerwashing outside of the building

Hospitality Team

The Hospitality Team supports the mission of TTLM by providing snacks and meals for classes, gatherings, special events, summer student programming, and under certain circumstances, clients.

Possible Tasks: Meals/snacks for Summer Challenge, employment classes, TTLM Connection, and volunteer days; Meal Trains

Prayer Team

The Prayer Team supports the mission of TTLM by praying over our staff, clients, donors, volunteers, and constituents, ensuring those engaged in advancing the Kingdom in our community through the work of TTLM are spiritually protected and strengthened.

Possible Tasks: Weekly prayer over clients, volunteers, donors, constituents, staff, and board members; Prayer Tents at Events; Participate in and possibly lead community-wide prayer campaign

Refresh Team

The Refresh Team supports the mission of TTLM by assisting with various operations in our boutique to help maintain a beautiful, clean, well-stocked store for our community, and ensuring clients are well-cared for when they visit.

Possible Tasks: Sorting donations; Organizing current resale stock; Taking unwanted donations to partner organizations; Private Shoppers

Special Events Team

The Special Events Team supports the mission of TTLM by providing on-site, day-of help for special events. While the Event Planning Team is involved in the leg work of putting the event together, this team shines by providing the manpower for events to take place.

Possible Tasks: Setup/Teardown; Greeting; Concessions; Ushers; Guest Hosts; Transportation (supplies and guests)

Student Support Team

The Student Support Team supports the mission of TTLM by providing direct support to students with specific tasks related to their personal, educational or employment needs.

Possible Tasks: Taking a student to get an ID; Assisting with the completion of the FAFSA or college applications; Completing scholarship applications; College class registration
